Terms of service
Last updated 26 September 2026
These terms govern your use of Workbench, a web application for creating product images, ads and short videos with AI models, operated by [operator], [street], [city]("we"). By creating an account you accept them. Workbench is offered to businesses and freelancers, not to consumers.
1. Your account
- You need an account with a valid email address. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
- An account can have several members. The owner manages billing, members and workspaces and is our contact for the account.
2. Plans, credits and payment
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time with effect from the end of the current period.
- Generating costs credits. Each plan includes credits for every billing period; unused plan credits expire at the end of the period. Credit packs you buy do not expire while your account exists. One credit corresponds to about USD 0.05 of model cost; the price of each creation is shown before you start it.
- Credits for creations that fail on our side are returned automatically. Credits have no cash value and are not refundable.
- Prices are net; VAT is added where it applies. We may change prices with 30 days' notice by email; you may cancel before the change takes effect.
3. Your content
- You keep all rights in what you upload (product photos, logos, texts) and, as far as the law allows, in what you create. We use your content only to run the service for you.
- You confirm that you may use what you upload, and that your creations do not infringe the rights of others, mislead consumers or break the law. Do not create sexual content involving minors, content that impersonates real people without their consent, or deceptive testimonials.
- Images and videos are made by AI models of third parties (currently Google Gemini and Veo), which embed an invisible SynthID watermark. Where the law requires it, for example under Article 50 of the EU AI Act, you label AI-generated content when you publish it.
4. Share links and your own API keys
- A share link gives anyone who has it read access to the content you chose, until it expires or you switch it off. You decide whom you send it to.
- If you connect your own provider key, generation runs on your provider account under that provider's terms, and the provider bills you directly.
5. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee it. AI output can be wrong or unexpected; check every creation before you use it. We may develop and change features and will tell you in advance about changes that reduce what a paid plan includes.
6. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential obligations, limited to the damage typical and foreseeable for this kind of contract, and in any case to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the damage. The German Product Liability Act is not affected.
7. Ending the contract
You can delete your account at any time in Account settings. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. After an account is deleted we delete its content within 30 days, except where we must keep records by law (for example invoices).
8. Final provisions
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Place of jurisdiction is [city], as far as legally permitted.
